The offseason Organized Team Activities (OTA’s) provides a first look to the incoming rookies. They are able to meet teammates and coaches, and learn the everyday destinations in the facility like where the training room and cafeteria are. Now, they are on the verge of becoming full-flegded professional football athletes.

Here's the basics of what rookies need to understand to be successful in year one:

Professionalism: Rookies need to focus on the fact that the NFL is a job, and they are now professionals. They are expected to act accordingly, be punctual, represent the organization well, and give their best effort in everything they do.
