We are about to learn who is visiting who for the Top 30 visits going into the NFL draft! As of Feb 26, teams can now invite more than 30 players to take a private meeting with a team. NFL teams can use these meetings to get more depth on injury history, player fit, and past issues and to spend time with the player to build a relationship.

For this three-part series, I will focus on three teams’ top 30 visits from the past 5 years that have historically been known to draft well: the Eagles, Ravens, and Chiefs. I will track how many players they draft from the Top 30 visits and identify patterns in their meetings.

** COVID years were slightly different as the US shut down right around the NFL Combine, so any interviews from All-Star games and onward were counted in this series. **

Up first is the Kansas City Chiefs!

The past five years have all been under one regime, Brett Veach. I combed through every national site with a Top 30 visit tracker I could find to compile as many visits as possible.

2024 Draft Cycle

I found 25 Top 30 visits during last year’s cycle. Including drafts and UDFAs the player selection rate is 8%. All draftees and UDFAs are bolded.
