The Top-5 Tackles in the 2024 NFL Draft
Ranking Daniel Harms top-5 tackles from the 2024 class.
The NFL constantly searches for plus players along the offensive line, particularly at tackle. This draft class is set up to watch the most tackles drafted in the first round since 2020 saw six of them taken. It’s a very talented group, and with many needs at tackle in the NFL, this class could set the record for tackles drafted in the first round. After doing extensive work on this tackle class, it’s time to reveal who I have ranked in the top five of this class.
Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
Mims could be the best tackle from this class, and I wouldn’t bat an eye. He’s an incredible athlete at his size, has 36 1/8-inch arms, and I believe he can play right or left tackle at the next level. He has some of the class's crispest pass sets, power, and great eyes. His lack of experience, tied to injuries in the last two seasons, makes him a genuine wild card in this draft. The upside is sky-high.
