Buffalo Bills
Draft Grade: B-
The Buffalo Bills are moving in a new direction toward the tight end. To support Josh Allen, the team made the investment in the first round and tight end Dalton Kincaid to allow them to run more 12 personnel and play with a bit more versatility. By adding O’Cyrus Torrence in the second and Nick Broeker later in the draft, they were able to fortify offensive line depth the mail allowed them to run the ball better. Justin Shorter the wide receiver from Florida, is a sneaky addition that could pay dividends for Buffalo when paired with their existing trio, including second-year player Khalil Shakir.
The offense was the focus of this draft. It remains to be seen if it will pack enough punch to actually improve the Bills outcomes rather than simply hold off regression. The offense can evolve and put them in a position to take a step forward, whether in this offseason or in 2024.
