The Kelce Family is riding high in our initial playoff power rankings for 2022. Eagles Center Jason and Chiefs Tight End Travis have both of their respective teams at the top of their Conference ranks. The rankings reflect the teams currently holding a playoff birth, ordering them based on head-to-head projections for January.
Eagles
Status: Leading
The Jalen Hurts-led Eagles keep rolling. Until another NFC team steps up, it's hard to see anyone but the Eagles as the top seed.
Chiefs
Status: Back in Driver's seat
The Chiefs are currently the AFC's best team. This is despite the loss of Tyreek Hill to Miami and a large question mark about the passing game's capabilities. Currently, Patrick Mahomes leads the league in yards and touchdowns thrown.
Bills
Status: Figuring it out
The Bills beat the New England Patriots on Thursday night in atypical fashion for them. Josh Allen was not the focus with 37 runs in the game. Does this help or hurt their playoff run?
Vikings
Status: Cruising under the radar
It's hard to be an under-the-radar team with only two losses. The evolution of Justin Jefferson in this offense has been remarkable but can they sustain themselves in head-to-head matchups with top teams?
Dolphins
Status: Overachieving
The Dolphins have an innovative offense with arguably the most explosive WRs in the NFL. They also are one of the least experienced at the quarterback position. That's never a plus in the postseason.
49ers
Status: Patching it up
the 49ers have persevered this season more than any other team on this list. Their weapons still present formidable offense, particularly as CMC gets more comfortable in Shanahan's system. They meet this week.
Bengals
Status: Picking up Speed
The Bengals slow start has given way to a team on the rise. Can Joe Burrow and his weapons compete in the postseason with the Bills and Chiefs? They beat the Chiefs twice last season.
Cowboys
Status: Ready to Ride
The Cowboys stepped up their game in November, averaging 36 points per game. Now the prospect of adding Odell Beckham Jr to the mix could give them a boost in the postseason.
Bucs
Status: Holding on   Â
Tom Brady's decline has been well documented, but it's not a total collapse. They face a Saints team looking to take over the division from them. Holding off New Orleans will be a sign of strength for the Bucs.
Titans
Status: Searching for answers
The Titans have survived the injury bug this year, but their offense in November averaged just 21 points per game. Derrick Henry is not enough by himself in their banking that rookie Treylon Burks can make the difference.
Ravens
Status: Stepping on themselves
Sitting tied for the division lead with the Bengals, the Ravens are searching for a way to surge. Recent distractions from Lamar Jackson and unfocused run game of late are concerning.
Jets
Status: Doing the Cinderella Thing
The Jets defense is real, but so is the problem at quarterback. Zach Wilson is at a crossroads and is a question mark to return to the lineup this season. Can Mike White really take this team on a playoff run?
WFT
Status: Putting up a Fight
Brian Robinson and Tayler Heinicke have given this team life but can that be enough? November marked their offensive output at 23 points per game. Is that enough to beat the giants this weekend?
Giants
Status: Trying not to Fall
The resurgence of Saquon Barkley gives hope, but the Brian Daboll Daniel Jones pairing has yielded middling results. The prospect of adding Odell Beckham would help but hard to see that happening in New York.
