We are just a few days away from the 2024 NFL Draft. The scouting reports have been reported, the hot takes have been made, and the draft debates have been debated. Most NFL fans, to varying degrees, have an idea of who these draft prospects are. But it’s one thing to know who these players are, it’s an entirely different thing to know where they fit. What scheme do they fit specifically? How will they be used in the NFL? Playing in the right situation can be the difference between success and failure for NFL players.

For the purposes of this article, I’m going to look at one of the more popular defensive schemes used in the NFL and let’s see if we can marry some 2024 NFL Draft prospects to the scheme.
