McConkey was Chargers Big move in 2024 NFL Draft

Despite Selecting Joe Alt with the #5 pick, McConkey stands out

Day two of the NFL Draft is sometimes considered the meats and potatoes of the draft. Plenty of talent remains available as teams continue to add potential starters and fill out their roster.

The second round started with a run of wide receivers, as three of the first five picks of the night came from that position. One of those picks, thanks to a trade-up, is really intriguing.

The Los Angeles Chargers moved up three spots, from No. 37 to No. 34, to select Georgia wide receiver Ladd McConkey, to the chagrin of the AFC West.
