Biggest games of second quarter of 2024 NFL season
We continue our series of highlighting the top games from each quadrant of the 2024 NFL season, we now turn our attention to the second quarter, where we will look at Weeks 5-8. Let’s get into it.
Week 5: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons (Thursday, October 3, 8:15 PM EST, Amazon Prime)
An early-season showdown in what could be a tight race in the NFC South. The Buccaneers have won the division three straight seasons but the Falcons are ready to make a push after signing quarterback Kirk Cousins.
Week 5: New York Jets vs. Minnesota Vikings in London (Sunday, October 6, 9:30 AM EST, NFL Network)
Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers takes the stage in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England. The Jets will face what should be a stingy and perhaps underrated defense in Minnesota.
Week 5: Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals (Sunday, October 6, 1:00 PM EST, CBS)
Joe Burrow is healthy which means the Bengals should be back in the mix to challenge the Ravens in the AFC North. A win here could go a long way toward the Bengals getting back their crown in the division.
