There are flames out west in the college football landscape. Three of the Top-7 rated Edges in CFB, according to PFF grades, play in the Pac-12. (sigh for the conference’s implosion). For the final regular season Top-15 Edge PRPM performers, Four play in the Pac-12 and an additional two play West of the Mississippi as well.
Pass rush production is about generating opportunities. It is the most fundamental need for a passrusher… This class has familiar names at the Top. UCLA’s OLB Laiatu Latu and Washington’s Bralen Trice lead this Draft class, tied with 64 pressures during the regular season. This is familiar territory for both of them as Trice led this class a year ago with 70 pressures and Latu followed with 65.
This season, Colorado State’s Muhammad Kamara and Lousiville’s Ashton Gillotte are #3 and #4 in total pressures.
